Bruce Kumar Frantzis
Bruce Kumar Frantzis (born March, 1949, New York City) is a writer of books on tai chi, chi gong, meditation, and energetic healing therapies. Additional recommended knowledgeFrantzis practiced Japanese and Chinese martial arts as well as yoga and meditation in his youth. When he was 18 he moved to Japan for a number of years [1] to study and learn more about Japanese martial arts. Later he spend more than ten years in China. Frantzis also practiced yoga for a few years in India [2]. In China he studied tai chi and healing arts under Liu Hung Chieh who was the youngest tai chi student of Wu Chien-ch'uan, founder of the Wu style of tai chi; Liu died December 1, 1986 [3], 81 years old [4]. After a serious car accident, that left him unable to continu the strenuous martial arts, Frantzis continued practicing the healing arts he had learned, and expanded his activities in teaching and writing books [5]:
