Anatomical Automatic LabelingAnatomical Automatic Labeling (AAL) is a computer program package and a digital human brain atlas. It is particularly used in research-based human functional neuroimaging, where it is used to obtain a neuroanatomical label to a given coordinate in the human brain. The computer program package is dependent upon the Matlab and SPM programs. The AAL digital human brain atlas is also available independent from the AAL computer program, e.g., in the MRIcro program.
