VR Dichtungen founded in 1988 VR-Dichtungen GmbH in Germany and VR-Dichtungen BV in the Netherlands are development and production companies that deal with customer-oriented sealing problems using the VR sealing system. This is especially the case when high circumferential speeds, high pressure loads as well as thermal and chemical stresses make sealing with conventional seals impossible. However, simple machining of the shaft and housing also shows that there are many technical and price advantages in using these VR seals.

What can we do for you? We solve sealing problems for you, so that an optimum of safety and profitability is found. At VR we work out the optimum seal for the user by design (drawing of the sealing point). This also includes a favorable housing and shaft machining. Up to 10 different elastomer materials are available for VR seals as sealing bodies. Supporting body materials can be selected from steel, stainless steel, aluminum or bronze, depending on the application. In addition to the stamped support bodies, turned metal parts form an additional combination. These have the advantage of high concentricity and high pressure load capacity. From the combinatorics of the possible designs, the installation dimensions and the possible materials, thousands of different seals can be built up with this system.

One more thing, it is irrelevant with the VR system whether small/medium or large series are in question. Seals can be manufactured for you from 1 piece to 1,000,000 pieces at VR. These are sold via direct channels in Germany as well as via our technically oriented trading companies and engineering offices in other European countries.
