Leaders in Sealing Solutions Since 1887
The year was 1886 when Olin J. Garlock devised a better way to seal piston rods in industrial steam engines. First established in 1887 in Port Gibson, New York, the Garlock Packing Company relocated in to Palmyra, NY, 1889. By the early 1900s Mr. Garlock's company began establishing facilities at what is now the current world headquarters for the Garlock family of companies.
