About Merz
In 1971 Mr. Eckhard Merz opened a construction office in Lich, Germany. In September 1979 Merz Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH was founded by the managing directors, Mrs. Maria Merz and Mr. Eckhard Merz. In the year 2002, Mr. Bernd Kirchhof was appointed as further Managing Director. He represents the company together with Mr. Holger Merz. Both work together as a sales team and now lead the company with more than 60 highly qualified employees. Our service includes the development, design, manufacture and sale of packaging machines and special machines / designs for stickpacks (small bags) and 3/4-page sealed bags. Our customers come from the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and chemical industries as well as the tobacco and food industry. As our customers continue to gain more and more confidence in the reliability, flexibility and long life of our machines, the share of company exports has risen to more than 70%.
