BioRegio Jena e.V.

The Thuringian bio-instruments cluster unifies technical and scientific strengths accumulated over more than 150 years, particularly in the areas of optics, process equipment and mechatronics, with applications in modern life sciences, i.e. medicine and biology. "BioInstruments” refers to instruments used in biology, such as biomolecules, cells, tissues, etc., and biotechnology, such as dyes, sensors, arrays and devices used in drug discovery.
