AQUAZOSTA® - The name is our program: AQUAZOSTA is an innovative life science company with a focus on research and development of renewable resources, especially on seagrasses - appreciated by the European trade mark authority as a novelty in the international Nizza classification class 42.

The company produces goods made from the eelgrass Zostera marina, a marine flowering plant growing in the Baltic Sea.This eelgrass is often confused with seaweeds, which are marine algae. Only the seagrasses, containing the patented unique botanical complex MAREZOSTIN® can be processed into added-value niche products like cosmeceuticals, pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals. Processing is carried out according to own know-how, and with our partners from science, economy, technique and administration, our aim is to make the broad potential of the new applications of seagrasses well known, national and international, e.g. for thalasso-wellness, food/feed and for ecologically manufactured fertilizer.
