About OrganoBalance
ORGANOBALANCE GmbH is a company specializing in microbial strain development and microbial screening. In close cooperation with leading industry partners, ORGANOBALANCE develops new biological products in the areas of nutrition, feed, personal care and health care. The company draws on its own collection of microorganism strains suitable for food applications and its own OASSYS® screening systems. In the field of “metabolic engineering” ORGANOBALANCE exploits Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast strains for synthesis of substances for the industrial and pharmaceutical biotechnology. For suitable strains, fermentation and downstream processes are developed in a pilot scale production facility. ORGANOBALANCE was founded in 2001 and is headquartered in Berlin.
