Biametrics GmbH develops and markets label-free analytical system solutions for life science applications. The patented label-free biosensor technology includes innovative detection, surface chemistry and assay development for the time-resolved analysis of any kind of biomolecular interaction. Biametrics has its headquarters in Tuebingen, Germany and is a successful spin-off company from the Eberhard-Karls University. Utilizing its innovative technology, Biametrics has developed two product lines tackling the pressing problems in life science labs: Time and money. The b-screen is able to handle any standard microarray format and can detect up to 10,000 bimolecular interactions in a single measurement with unmatched performance. The b-portable enables for high quality label-free interaction analysis everywhere, with a smart and inexpensive device. In addition to the development of its own products, Biametrics collaborates with market-leading companies and provides R&D services and licenses in the areas of IVD, life-science research, process control, and homeland-security. Biametrics was founded in 2010 by Dr. Günther Proll (Managing Director) and Dr. Florian Pröll (Managing Director) and has currently 10 employees.
