BIO-MAR is engaged in the research and production of natural products from the marine environment. The focus is on the isolation of marine microorganisms of rare or hitherto unknown species as a source of production for such natural products. Our team of chemists, pharmacists and biotechnologists uses innovative methods to isolate and cultivate these organisms and their secondary metabolites, using HPLC / MS-based and bioassay-guided screening methods to ensure efficient processing of natural products.
