ProteoNic is a privately held Dutch life sciences company. ProteoNic's field of expertise pertains to the upstream protein production process, specifically optimizing mRNA translation. By licensing its proprietary UNic™ technology to protein manufacturing companies, ProteoNic enables its customers to significantly lower production costs, improve manufacturing flexibility, improve product quality and increase the economic feasibility of developing novel products.

ProteoNic was incorporated in 2004 as a spin out of the Radboud University with the objective to develop and commercialize the UNic™ technology platform discovered at the University. The companies corporate headquarters and labs are located in the Bio Science Park Leiden on the west coast of the Netherlands.
