Biopremier – Inovação e Serviços em Biotecnologia, S.A.

Biopremier was constituted at the end of 2003. However research activities and services only began in the following year.

In 2006 the company received the NEST homologation (New Companies of Technological Support) from the Agency of Innovation (AdI) and the IAPMEI Innovation statute (IAPMEI), recognition of its innovative and technological activities.

During that year, Biopremier shareholder structure was strengthened through the entrance of InovCapital, S.A. (ex-PME Capital) and Biocant Ventures, Lda.

The financing receiving allowed the construction/building of new laboratories, the admission of highly qualified human resources and accelerated the development of new diagnostic products and services.

Additionally, the process of implementation of the Accreditation according to 17025:2005 ISO Standard, was initiated for several assay techniques.
