Olink Bioscience is a privately held company based in Uppsala, Sweden, founded in 2004 by Prof. Ulf Landegren and partners. The company was initially founded on a portfolio of 12 patent cases, covering 4 technologies for advanced analyses of biomolecules pertaining to applications in basic research as well as in routine diagnostics. Today, the portfolio comprises 17 patent cases.
Olink Bioscience's commercial model combines active out-licensing of proprietary technologies with sales of proprietary reagent products. The first product Duolink™, based on in situ Proximity Ligation Assay Technology, was launched in June 2007 and is available through our web shop.
