LA CITÉ DE LA BIOTECH

The Biotech City is a biotechnology and life sciences hub of the Greater Montreal with more than 100 companies. World renowned biopharmaceutical firms and research institutes employing more than 5,000 individuals are based in Laval and are operating within a 3-km radius. Our mission is to ensure the attraction, development and growth of corporations born out of health science research and to provide them with an environment conductive to success.

The cluster comprises companies in the fields of biotechnology, pharmaceutical, medical device, CRO and IT. The Biotech City includes also a vertically integrated industrial park dedicated to life sciences where can be found two research institutes, an incubator, laboratory space for rent and land for development. The Biotech City is conveniently located close to Montreal and the International Airport, and is served by the subway.
