SBL Vaccines (SBL) is a Swedish registered company with in-house research, development and manufacturing capabilities, marketing our specialist vaccines internationally. A complete vaccine portfolio sourced from global vaccine companies is marketed in the Nordic region by our distribution division based in Stockholm.

Our core product Dukoral is an oral vaccine that protects against cholera and travellers’ diarrhoea. Dukoral has been sold successfully in Sweden and Norway for several years and was recently approved for sale in the European Union. Dukoral is also available in 25 other countries worldwide.

SBL is the leading vaccine distributor in Sweden. Specialising in high levels of service, we distribute vaccine products from different manufacturers directly to customers in the Nordic markets. All products are supported by an in-house medical information service. Our customers include healthcare centres, hospitals, schools, private doctors and industrial healthcare or service units. Sales invoiced by SBL amount to over SEK 330 million annually.

SBL’s expertise stems from a long tradition of medical microbiological research and development. We work in collaboration with both Swedish and international research teams and vaccine companies. In particular, SBL is a world leader in prophylactic treatment of travellers’ diarrhoea.

Our ambition for the future is to be a truly international company, deriving the majority of our sales from outside the Nordic region. We are driven by a belief that vaccination is an excellent example of preventative healthcare, and that SBL can provide the highest levels of quality and service.
