About IoSys
The company IoSys-Dr. Timur Seidel e.K. was founded in 2002 by Dr. Timur Seidel in Ratingen close to Düsseldorf/Germany.
IoSys means Individual optical Systems, offering specific solutions for customer’s analytical demands.
Dr. Seidel is the inventor and manufacturer of all IoSys’ measuring devices , see also his former homepage: www.iosys-seidel.de
Before establishing IoSys, he had worked for 8 years in a waste disposal company as a project manager in the area of plastic recycling with a focus on plastic analysis.
For IoSys he is responsible for the production, marketing and quality assurance of the existing measuring device as well as for the new development of additional measuring systems for the identification plastics and the rapid detection of additives.
Since 2002 IoSys has sold hundreds of plastic identification systems all over the world together in cooperation with his distributors.
Dr. Seidel (born in 1966) has his PH.D. in chemistry (in 1993) with the focus on analytics.
As part of his doctoral work, Dr. Timur Seidel was intensively involved in the development and characterization of a new excitation source in optical atomic emission spectrometry for examining plastics and other non-conductive materials, the so-called sliding spark spectroscopy.
This new method is the Spark-part of the mIRoSpark2.0 device.
