We prefer to enjoy the sea on the beach than on our plates. Our purely plant-based Happy Ocean prawns are not only delicious, but also healthy: for you and our oceans. Happy Ocean Foods was founded in 2020 by Julian Hallet and Robin Drummond. As passionate surfers who care about the ecological balance of the oceans, the founders focus their company on the development and production of plant-based alternatives to fish and seafood. The vision: Delicious, conscious and more sustainable alternatives for all - a win-win for consumers and the oceans. With the Happy Oceans Shrymps, the company launched its first product exclusively in selected restaurants in Munich in November 2021; in the meantime, the Shrymps are available throughout Germany and for B2C and B2B customers. The innovative food-tech start-up is supported by renowned investors - including Nico Rosberg, Dagmar Wöhrl and the investor Blue Horizon.
