AB-Biotics is a University Autonoma of Barcelona, spin off company incorporated in 2004. The company has developed a proprietary portfolio of probiotic strains that are being marketed in 66 markets by over 90 different pharmaceitucal companies. The company was founded by Food Technology full profesor Buenaventura Guamis and two students Sergi Audivert and Miquel Angel Bonachera. The company is listed in Alternative Investment Market in Spain (MAB) since 2010.
