Microtest Diagnostics, previously known as Microtest Matrices, is a London-based Imperial College spin out which manufactures high quality in-vitro diagnostic tests for allergy and autoimmunity. Its fully automated allergy testing platform is designed for use directly by doctors and allergy specialists. The company was founded in 2002 by Professor Andrea Crisanti, Chair of Molecular Parasitology at Imperial College and Chair of Microbiology at the University of Perugia in Italy. Shareholders of the Company include Anglo Scientific, Imperial Innovations, several well known UK Business Angels and family offices.
