Taking profit of an experience of more than 60 years, Phospholipid GmbH specializes in the purification of vegetable phospholipids. Based in Cologne, Germany, we dispose of the largest production facility for purified soybean lecithin fractions worldwide. Several hundred tons of phospholipids are produced here every year.

With the support of our agencies and distributors, we offer our pure soya lecithin fractions to customers in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic and health food industries.

Because of their most versatile functions and extraordinary safety profile, phospholipids in general and phosphatidylcholine in particular are indispensable ingredients in many innovative pharmaceutical, cosmetic and dietetic applications today. An ever increasing number of scientific publications and patent applications related to phospholipids as well as the industrial demand rising continuously substantiate this fact impressively.

Our product groups Phospholipon®, Phosal® and Soluthin® constitute an extensive range of phospholipids of different purity grades and product forms enabling our customers to make their optimal choice for a specific application.

However, we do not limit our business to the sales of high-quality phospholipids – our main emphasis is customer service. At Phospholipid GmbH, we seek a qualified partnership with our customers in the industry from the first stage of product development until the commercialization of the final product. A specialized team of experts is at our customer’s disposal for all scientific, technological, regulatory or commercial questions around lecithin and phospholipids. Free sample shipments of selected lecithin fractions for technical trials belong to our service concept as well as the provision of scientific information material to support R & D activities or marketing departments.
