Medizintechnik Cluster – OÖ Wirtschaftsagentur GmbH

The Medical Technology Cluster (MTC) of the Upper Austrian Business Agency Business Upper Austria is the central interface between business, science and medicine. The aim is to bring together the more than 230 partners in the field of medical technology and to initiate joint projects. Since the cluster was established (2002), 50 ideas from the medtech sector have already been successfully implemented in cluster cooperation projects with 177 partner companies. Based on the central topic of medical technology, the cluster focuses its activities on 3 main areas: MedTech.Transfer (with the MedTech.Transfer initiative), MedTech.IT (with the Digital MedTech initiative) and MedTech.Entry & Transition (essentially: regulatory affairs). In addition to the three central focal points, there is a second level which is important for the orientation of the medical technology cluster: the service portfolio as well as the key account management of the cluster are oriented - as in a classic production company - to four processes: Sales, production, quality management, procurement.
