CLIB2021- Cluster Industrielle Biotechnologie e.V.

CLIB2021 is a cluster of more than 70 members mainly from industry and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). Members are large companies such as Altana, Evonik, Bayer MS, Bayer TS, Cognis, Henkel, Lanxess and Pfeifer&Langen, 34 SMEs, 9 universities as well as investors and infrastructure‐organizations. CLIB2021 initiates and accompanies R&D in the fields of monomers & polymers, fine chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and personal care and cosmetics; if necessary, we arrange public funding. Our members combine scientific and commercial expertise. With an accumulated annual sales volume of approximately €65 billion, CLIB2021 offers an attractive market for R&D in industrial biotechnology. Since 2008, CLIB2021 has initiated R&D projects with a total volume of more than € 60 million.
